An interactive miniature canopy system using Arduino
Project Overview
The Light-Based Canopy project is a miniature adaptive canopy system that adapts to ambient light using Arduino. Built using cardboard, servo, LDR, and LEDs, this prototype is ideal for STEM exhibitions, interactive showcases, and smart architecture concept demos.
Materials & Tools
Arduino Uno
Light-dependent resistor (LDR)
LCD
LEDs
Servo
Breadboard & jumper wires
Cardboard sheets
USB cable or power bank
Basic tools (glue, scissors, markers)
Assembly Process
Design the canopy structure using cardboard.
Mount the Servo, LDR, and LEDs.
Connect components to Arduino using a breadboard.
Write and upload the Arduino sketch for ambient light detection.
Test the system by varying light intensity and observing LED and servo response.
